Наступил июнь, а это означает, что Cataclysm Classic ждут первые киберспортивные мероприятия: на этих выходных пройдет PvE-состязание "Dragonslayer Challenge", а на следующих – PvP-турнир "Cataclysm Arena Tournament". Разработчики опубликовали небольшую заметку, в которой поделились подробностями этих событий.

• На выходных 8-9 июня пройдет "Dragonslayer Challenge", в котором две сильнейшие гильдии, что увлекаются скоростным прохождением классических рейдов, – Progress и None of the Above, – посоревнуются в забеге на скорость по трем начальным рейдам Cataclysm. В первый день им достанутся персонажи 346 уровня и потребуется как можно сильнее улучшить свою экипировку в героических подземельях. А на второй день они одновременно отправятся на зачистку рейдов, и тот коллектив, который раньше противника победит всех боссов, получит часть призовых в размере $50 тыс.
• На выходных 14-16 июня пройдет "Cataclysm Arena Tournament", в котором по 8 команд из 3 игроков сразятся друг с другом на аренах сначала внутри региона, а затем между ними. Общие призовые составляют $50 тыс. или по $25 на регион.

Оба мероприятия будут транслироваться в сети на официальных каналах игры и личных каналах участников каждый день с 20:00 МСК.

Prepare to watch the fastest speedrunning guilds in the Dragonslayer Challenge, then tune in to the action as celebrated combatants clash in the Cataclysm Classic Arena Tournament. Dragonslayer Challenge

We’re pitting two of the top speedrunning guilds against one another in the Dragonslayer Challenge! The guilds will have one day to gear fresh characters in dungeons before diving into the depths of three raids in a head-to-head race.

On Saturday, June 8,  raiders from Progress and None of the Above will log onto fresh characters equipped with a base item level of 346 to venture into each of the Cataclysm Dungeons in pursuit of upgrades and armor! They’ll down mobs and bosses alike to strengthen their characters and prepare for a daunting Day 2.

On Sunday, June 9, each guild will field their roster and the competition will be underway! They’ll race against the clock and one another to clear three classic Cataclysm raids: Bastion of Twilight, Throne of the Four Winds, and Blackwing Descent. Whichever guild defeats all of the bosses first will be victorious and will take home the lion’s share of the $50,000 prize pool!

Нон фром эбав играют, просто за деньги, сейчас есть призовой фонд, может это их замотивирует, вообще по спидранам они занимают первое место

где кто и как играет я в курсе, тем более несколько кор игроков из ноты перешли в прогресс для каты, по причине отказа ноты быть на компететив сцене.
Сомнения в другом:
- есть ли у них ростер
- отсутствие длительной птр подготовки
