Revel in the Winds of Fortune

With the Poisoned Winds underway and the glorious Cross Region Bout of Realms raging in Sanctuary, it’s time to earn new bonuses to arm yourself against the demonic forces. This content update brings back the Winds of Fortune limited-time event, improves the Devour UI for the Warlock class, and introduces a new system to ensure you never miss collecting PvP rewards.

As with previous content updates, there will be server maintenance starting on July 14, 2026, from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. PDT for Oceania, East Asia, Southeast Asia, and Europe servers, and on July 15, from 1 a.m.-3 a.m. PDT for servers in the Americas. After the maintenance has concluded, all items mentioned below will be live-specific dates for any features going live afterward are provided below.

Winds of Fortune Limited-Time Event

Event Time: July 15 - July 22, 2026, 3:00 a.m local server time

During Winds of Fortune, the 4-player party Normal Gems bonus drop will be doubled and unaffected by the daily cap, and only the first twelve Common Gems of the day will be tradable.

While Winds of Fortune is live, activate your 24-hour buff to receive this boost. Once activated, the buff duration is in real time and will end 24 hours after it’s been initiated. If you have not activated the buff within 24 hours of the event's end, it will be enabled automatically. Any rewards not claimed before the end of the event will be auto-claimed on the next login.

Any of these items will drop in duplicate quantities:
  • Gold
  • Experience
  • Battle Pass Points
  • Normal Gems
  • Legendary Items
Items from these activities will also drop in duplicate quantities:
  • Horadric Bestiary
  • Challenge Rifts
  • Bounties
  • Fishing
  • Dungeons
  • Purge the Depths
  • Accursed Towers
  • Hidden Lairs
  • Farming in the wilderness
  • Codex Activities
During this limited-time event, Battle Pass rewards will not be doubled, and the weekly limit on Battle Pass Points and Normal Gems will not change. Any bonus Experience gained will be affected by your current modifier.

Additionally, there are limits to each item that can be earned in duplicate quantities. You’ll earn double the amount until you reach the limit. Check out the event in-game for more details.

Class Updates

Barbarian

  • Fixed an issue where the Barbarian Legendary Essence Steel Omen caused Whirlwind to grant abnormally high movement speed.
Necromancer
  • Fixed an issue where the Necromancer Legendary Essence Cryptreaper for Command Golem could summon the golem outside the map boundaries in certain locations.
  • Fixed an issue where the Necromancer Legendary Essence Gravemaster for Command Skeletons could have their charge interrupted under certain circumstances.
  • Updated the description of the Necromancer Legendary Essence Dead Druthers to more accurately reflect its effect.
Warlock

Devour UI Improvements

Soulgorger Management
  • Added an additional nameplate for the Soulgorger next to the players nameplate in the upper left corner of the screen that appears just under the party nameplates.
  • This new UI element tracks the Soulgorger's health, respawn cooldown, and active Devour effects, giving clearer access to information.
  • When the Soulgorger is beyond a certain distance from the Warlock and leaves the screen's range, it will track and display the Soulgorger's position at the edge of the screen.

Demonic Portal
  • Added additional text to show the duration of Devour buffs that were previously missing.
  • Added additional text to clarify that Devour effects that alter the Soulgorgers Primary Attack into another form of Primary Attack do not stack. This is consistent with how Primary Attack replacements work for player characters.
Other Warlock Updates

Brimstone Gateway
  • Fixed an issue on PC where your travel destination was not cleared when using the portal, which could cause characters to walk backwards or in undesirable directions. Using a Gateway now clears your destination and requires additional movement input for your character to start moving.
Pit-Burnt Paulds
  • Fixed an issue with this Essence on PC that would cause the character to walk up to the Soulgorger before casting the skill if the Soulgorger was being targeted directly.
Warp Strike
  • Fixed an issue that caused the entry rift portal to not appear when using all variants of this skill.
General Updates
  • Smart Targeting (PVP) is a new setting in the Interface – Skill Targeting section on mobile that can be enabled to have Primary Attack and Skills prioritize Players.
  • Added a Horadric Altar to Castle Cyrangar.
War Game Updates

War Games now has new Battleground Mode selections available for Chaos Convoy, Assault - Demon Invasion and Convoy - Demon Invasion.

Automatic PvP Reward Collection

Based on player feedback, we’ve improved reward flow with Automatic PvP Reward Collection. Previously, you needed to return to the matchmaking screen and claim rewards manually after each match. This sometimes led to forgetting or missing earned rewards.

Starting with this update, you’ll enjoy the following quality of life changes:
  • Rewards are automatically granted when a PvP match ends.
  • If you don’t have enough inventory space, you’ll receive rewards delivered via in-game mail.
The matchmaking screen now focuses on displaying daily reward progress rather than requiring manual claims. This change streamlines the post-match experience and ensures you’ll receive rewards.[Источник]
