На PTR установлена свежая сборка обновления 5.5.1 для Mists of Pandaria Classic, в которой разработчики внесли ряд изменений в PvP-предметы.

• Разработчики передумали добавлять возможность улучшения эпической PvP-экипировки и обмена очков Завоевания на очки Чести. Редкая PvP-экипировка сохранит единичную возможность повышения уровня на 8 очков с 457 до 465.
• 12 сезон будет действовать по модели 13/14/15 сезонов, получив некоторые будущие изменения ранее. В частности, появятся Воитель Голин (для Альянса) и Ру Десвин (для Орды), у которых игроки, накопившие за сезон 27.000+ очков Завоевания, смогут приобретать экипировку завоевания за очки Чести для составления альтернативных наборов снаряжения без оглядки на валютные ограничения.
• Бонус "Дело чести" станет повышать количество получаемых очков Чести на 50% (вместо 10%).
• После того, как на неделе игрок получит основным персонажем 4.000 очков Завоевания, альтернативные герои до ее конца будут иметь 50% бонус "Завоевание Древних" к получаемым очкам Завоевания (как аналог "Доблести Древних").

MoP Classic: Landfall PTR Development Notes

In patch 5.5.1, Epic PvP gear will not be upgradeable. We feel that it would be disruptive to do in the middle of a season. Additionally, we don’t want the increased pressure on players to, after getting a piece of PvP gear, obtain more Conquest or Honor before equipping it.

In future seasons, PvP gear in Mists of Pandaria is not upgradable, so this adjustment to Season 12 gear matches that. This also means we are no longer introducing the Conquest Point to Honor Point conversion.

This change is for Epic gear. Rare quality PvP gear will be upgradeable by 8 item levels with one transaction, taking them from iLvl 457 to 465.

• With this patch, the Season 13/14/15 Mists of Pandaria model will be applied to Season 12, introducing the Alliance Armsmaster Holinka and Horde Roo Desvin NPCs a season early.
  • Players who have earned 27,000 Conquest in Season 12 can purchase all Conquest Point gear with Honor Points.
  • This allows players to get as many sets of PvP gear for off-specs as they would like without worries about caps.
• The Honorable Mention perk (granted to all players by default) now increases Honor Point gains by 50% (was 10%).
  • Developers’ notes: We believe that with an increased emphasis on Honor, Honor Point gains are a bit slow compared to Justice Points.
• After you gain 4000 Conquest (a weekly cap increase) on one of your characters on an account, all character son that account gain a buff granting them 50% increased Conquest Point gains until the next weekly reset.
  • Developers’ notes: Getting alts up to speed on Conquest can be a bit of a slog, so we’re introducing a mirrored version of the Valor of the Ancients account wide buff called Conquest of the Ancients.
