Keep the Flow Going in Season 18 MidcycleSeason 18 started strong—like really strong. We dropped the brand-new Support Hero Wuyang, a rebellious prodigy who rewrote the healing playbook with aquatic flair. Luka Dončić stepped onto the Stadium court, bringing his personal build, a reward drop stacked with 77 Loot Boxes, and a whole new reason to call Stadium "
the Hero shooter playground". And Competitive? Hit with a full-system refresh that leveled the playing field, recharged the climb, and let us experiment with over 50 brand-new Hero Perks.
That would’ve been enough for most seasons. But we’re not done yet. Midcycle is here, loaded with more rewards! From Tracer sprinting into Stadium, to a masked collab, to a full month of Anniversary chaos, to sweaty high-stakes weekends and fashion collections that’ll keep your locker full, this is how we keep the current rolling. Let’s flow into Midseason!
Tracer Blinks into StadiumShe’s finally here. The poster Hero of Overwatch—Tracer—is joining the Stadium lineup at midseason. If you thought the mode already had chaos potential, just wait until she starts zipping across the map, rewinding through damage, and dismantling backlines with her blink-and-burst playstyle.
Tracer’s arrival rounds out the current Stadium additions of Winston, Pharah, and Brigitte, making this roster more versatile than ever. She’s built for disruption and high-mobility flanks, ideal for players who live for the adrenaline rush of barely surviving with one HP. You want to keep enemies second-guessing their positioning? You want to punish slow rotations? You want to be the absolute menace on the map? Tracer is your Hero. Draft her. Blink in. Reshape the play.
But Tracer isn’t the only shakeup. We’re also dropping another Stadium update, with Advanced Custom Games and full AI Bot Integration. Advanced Custom Games let you remix the mode itself, adjusting everything from rounds to win and Power rounds, to bans, maps, mirror matchups, and even the currency economy. Want to create your own Stadium sandbox? Now you can, the playground is yours.
Meanwhile, AI Bots are fully suited up and ready to scrim. Practice builds solo, fill out a squad against bots, or draft them onto your team. They buy Items, use Powers, and play across every Stadium map (including Payload Race), making them perfect sparring partners for testing out strategies or sharpening mechanics.
Together, Tracer’s high-speed chaos plus these new game systems Stadium more dynamic, more customizable, and more FUN. Whether you’re blinking for the backline or bending the rules of the mode itself, midseason Stadium brings fresh experimentation, creativity, and flow.
