Crown the Champions in the Cross Region Bout of RealmsNow that you’ve encountered all the new challenges of the Bloodied Jewel and delved into the mysteries of Lut Gholein, it’s time to take new risks for more rewards. This update brings the month-long progression events during the Poisoned Winds and an Invitational-style Cross Region Bout of Realms. We’ve also made some important class updates, particularly to Warlocks, and improved interactions with Voracity.
As with previous content updates, there will be server maintenance starting on
June 30, 2026, from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. PDT for Oceania, East Asia, Southeast Asia, and Europe servers, and on
July 1, from 1 a.m.-3 a.m. PDT for servers in the Americas. After the maintenance has concluded, all items mentioned below will be live—specific dates for any features going live afterward are provided below.
Survive the Poisoned WindsEvent Dates: July 1 - July 26, 2026, 3:00 a.m
From July 1 through July 26, 2026 3:00 a.m. local server time, smash through returning events to earn progress and rewards during the Poisoned Winds.
Event Schedule:- Survivor's Bane: July 1 - July 8, 3:00 a.m.
- Trial of the Hordes: July 8 - July 15, 3:00 a.m.
- Fractured Plane: July 15 - July 22, 3:00 a.m.
- Wild Brawl: July 22 - July 29, 3:00 a.m.
Prepare for the Cross Region Bout of RealmsThe bravest fighters of Sanctuary will be invited for one unified purpose: to determine who among them can crown themselves champion. The second Cross Region Bout of Realms welcomes the strongest clans to compete for international glory in a multistage Tower War PvP.
Based on feedback from the inaugural tournament, several improvements have been made to the tournament structure, battlefield experience, and rewards.
Tournament Schedule- Invitation Acceptance: July 6-19, 2026
- Round Robin Stage: July 21-22, 2026
- Championship Final: July 24, 2026

Invitations and QualificationsThe top-performing teams from each server will receive invitations to participate. Eligible teams can
accept invitations starting July 6.
Your team will be able to compete if
fewer than 4 register within 48 hours of the invitation (July 8). Failure to register within this timeframe is the same as declining the invitation. More details below:
- Every member of qualifying teams will receive an invitation and can individually confirm their participation.
- If 0-3 people confirm participation, the team does not qualify for the competition and we will pass the invite on to teams with lower rankings.
- If 4-7 people confirm participation and qualify for the competition, use the remaining invitation time period to invite other players to join the team. Those who have already confirmed participation cannot be adjusted again.
- If all members confirm participation, there is no need to adjust team members further.
Once this qualification has been met, you can use the rest of the Invitation Acceptance period (until July 19) to invite other players to fill any empty slots remaining.

Round Robin Format ImprovementsTo improve pacing and reduce the overall time commitment required from participating teams, the Round Robin stage has been restructured.
For Season 2:- The 8 qualified teams will be divided into 2 groups of 4 teams
- Teams will compete in a Round Robin format within their group
- Each team will play 3 matches instead of 7
- The top team from each group advances to the Championship Final
This change reduces the total number of Round Robin matches from 7 rounds to 3 rounds, making every match more meaningful while creating a more focused tournament experience.
New Battlefield ExperienceSeason 2 introduces a new battlefield experience for Cross Region Bout of Realms.
Convoy: Demonic InvasionThe tournament battlefield has been updated to use the Convoy - Demon Invasion variant. This battlefield features:
- Demon-themed battlefield events and objectives
- New strategic opportunities throughout the match
- Greater emphasis on adaptation and coordination
While based on the existing Convoy ruleset, the Demon Invasion variant provides a fresh competitive experience and challenges teams to adjust their strategies on the international stage.
Expanded Prestige RewardsTo better commemorate participation and tournament achievements, new prestige rewards have been added.
- Exclusive Cross Region Chat Frame
All participating players will receive the exclusive:
- Cross Region Bout of Realms Chat Frame
All participating teams will receive:
- Limited Time Title
- Champion Gold Champion Star and special Cloak
- Runner-Up Silver Champion Star and special Cloak
- Exclusive Chat Frame
- Selectable Legendary Gems and Legendary Crest, etc.
Champion Stars are permanent prestige rewards displayed alongside the chat frame. Players can accumulate additional Stars through future Cross Region tournaments, allowing their accomplishments to continue growing over time.

Class Updates
Warlock- Fixed an issue where the Hellslayer Affix for the Warlock base skill Warp Strike could be triggered by the player's basic attacks in battlegrounds.
- Fixed an issue where the description for the Warlock base skill Demonic Portal listed an incorrect duration for the summoned Demonic Soldier. The description has been updated to match the actual behavior. (No gameplay changes were made.)
- Fixed an issue where the Legendary Essence Offal on the Spire had an incorrect target specified in its description. The description has been updated to match the actual behavior. (No gameplay changes were made.)
- Fixed an issue where the skill description for the Legendary Essence Offal on the Spire listed an incorrect duration for its damage-over-time effect. The description has been updated to match the actual behavior. (No gameplay changes were made.)
- Fixed an issue where the Legendary Essence Under Pressure was incorrectly disabled when the Soulgorger died.
- Fixed an issue where the Legendary Essence Watch Them Writhe would deal an unintended extra instance of damage during the first second after being cast.
- Fixed an issue where the attack visual effects of the Legendary Essence Brutal Lessons were not properly hidden when skill visual effects were disabled.
Barbarian- Fixed an issue where the visual effects of the Barbarian Legendary Item Steel Omen did not scale correctly when combined with the Hellslayer Affix that increases the area of Whirlwind.
- Fixed an issue where the Barbarian Legendary Item Steel Omen could not correctly trigger the 2-piece bonus of the Seeds of Sown Gold Set.
Demon Hunter- Fixed an issue where the movement speed bonus granted by the Demon Hunter Legendary Item Travel by Night was not functioning correctly while Shadowsight was active.
Monk- Fixed an issue where the Monk Legendary Items Dreaded Reunion and Unending Cycle would cause the Lightning Rosary projectiles fired during Mystic Strike to originate from an incorrect position.
Tempest- Fixed an issue where the cooldown display for the Tempest Legendary Item Coral Shank's Crosswinds skill was incorrect under certain circumstances.
Wizard- Fixed an issue where the Wizard Legendary Item Skyhold Crosier, when combined with Galebrinde, caused Arcane Wind basic attacks to fail to slow enemies while Ice Armor was active.
Voracity ImprovementsWe’ve improved attack clarity for Voracity in Path of Blood:
- Adjusted some of the attack animations for the Poison Blast attack, so its trajectory is more aligned with its damage location and hit VFX.
- Reduced the size of the poison pool damage area, making it align with the visual, so players no longer take damage when standing outside the poison.
