На тестовые игровые миры установлена свежая сборка альфа-версии дополнения Midnight, в которой разработчики внесли большую порцию классовых изменений и иных корректировок.:cut:
  • Начался четвертый этап альфа-тестирования Midnight.
  • Жилища для игроков временно отключены для исправления неполадок.
  • Внесены существенные изменения в работу способностей прерывания, постепенное ослабевание эффективности контроля и поведение существ.
  • Теперь внутри подземелий и рейдов подсвечиваются способности боевого воскрешения (если мертв один из участников группы) и групповые усиления (если кто-то из участников группы не имеет соответствующего эффекта).
  • Внесено большое число классовых изменений.
  • Добавлено несколько новых бонусов классовых комплектов 1 сезона.
  • Введено несколько улучшений для интерфейса.
  • Добавлено 150 украшений для жилищ.
  • Добавлен новый транспорт – Яркий хлороцерос, множество питомцев, декоративных предметов и других вещей.
  • Добавлена серия достижений для вылазок, в том числе свой "Зал славы" на 1000 игроков-одиночек.

    • 2-set bonus: Pyroblast and Flamestrike deal 8% increased damage.
    • 4-set bonus: Casting Pyroblast or Flamestrike reduces the cooldown of Fire Blast by 0.5 seconds.
  • Frost Mage
    • 2-set bonus: Flurry and Blizzard deal 8% increased damage.
    • 4-set bonus: Fingers of Frost increases Shatter’s damage by 10%.

        • New Talent: Bladecraft – Fury of the Aldrachi further empowers Blade Dance/Soul Cleave when cast after Chaos Strike/Fracture, increasing slashes to 12. Reaver’s Mark now stacks up to 3 times and further empowers Chaos Strike/Fracture when cast after Blade Dance/Soul Cleave, applying an additional stack.

        • Blade Dance damage increased by 20%. Fully channeling Eye Beam causes your next Blade Dance to refresh its own cooldown.
      • Eye Beam cooldown reduced to 30 seconds (was 40 seconds).
      • Cycle of Hatred now reduces Eye Beam cooldown by 2.5 seconds per stack (was 5 seconds), stacking up to 10 seconds (was 20 seconds).

        • Strike for the Heart has been updated –
          • Feral: Shred, Swipe, and Rake damage increased by 10% and their critical strike chance is increased by 8%.
          • Guardian: Mangle damage increased by 20% and its critical strike chance is increased by 10%. Mangle heals you for 5% of maximum health.
        • Tear Down the Mighty has been updated –
          • Feral: Damage dealt by Chomp and Feral Frenzy increased by 20%.
          • Guardian: The cooldown of Sundering Roar is reduced by 15 seconds.
        • Claw Rampage has been updated – The chance for various attacks to trigger Ravage reduced to 20% (was 25%).
        • Ravage has been updated – Your auto-attacks are 15% more likely to make your next attack a Ravage.
        • Empowered Shapeshifting increases the damage and Shred and Swipe by 10% (was 6%).
        • The Ruthless Aggression/Killing Strikes choice node has changed position.

          • Wildpower Surge now increases the damage of your next Ferocious Bite or Rip by 50% when its bonus is active (was 200%).

      • Quell is now learned in the Augmentation specialization tree (was a class talent).

      • Developers’ notes: We’re updating a couple specialization talents with the intent that they play more fluidly with other changes to the specialization. Molten Embers and Imminent Destruction require delaying the second Deep Breath from Strafing Run, but we’d like for you to choose the best moment to use it instead, so we’re updating them to be beneficial whether you use them back to back or wait. Scorching Embers has been adjusted to simplify its interaction with the new Consume Flame mechanic. Our intent is that you are maintaining Fire Breath on your target as Flameshaper regardless of the Empower level needed to do so.
      • Apex Talents: Rising Fury
        • While Dragonrage is active, you gain Rising Fury every 6 seconds, increasing your Haste by 4%. Stacks up to 5 times.
        • When Rising Fury reaches 5 stacks, it increases all spell damage dealt by 8%/15%.
        • When Dragonrage ends, gain Risen Fury for 4 seconds per stack which grants the damage and Haste bonuses accumulated from Rising Fury and generates Essence Burst every 4 seconds.
      • Imminent Destruction has been redesigned – Deep Breath reduces the Essence cost of your next 4 Disintegrates or Pyres by 1. Stacks up to 8 times.
      • Scorching Embers has been redesigned – Enemies affected by Fire Breath’s damage over time effect take 25% increased damage from your Red spells.
      • Quell is now learned in the Devastation specialization tree (was a class talent).

      • New Talent: Guardian’s Hide – Your pet protects you at all times, reducing the damage you take by 3%. Your pet receives 100% of the damage it mitigates. Choice node with Roar of Sacrifice.
        • Developers’ notes: Guardian’s Hide is intended to be an option for players who still want to benefit from Roar of Sacrifice’s damage mitigation, but don’t want the extra keybind or responsibility.
      • Lone Survivor has been updated – Now increases Survival of the Fittest’s duration by 2 seconds (was 4 seconds).
    • Beast Mastery
      • Bloodshed has been updated – Bestial Wrath provokes your pets to tear into your target, causing your target to bleed for heavy damage. Damage from Bloodshed has a 10% chance to summon a Dire Beast.
        • Developers’ notes: Bloodshed was not hitting the notes we wanted as its own button, so we’re folding its behaviors into Bestial Wrath, and will tune around its increased frequency. Dark Ranger nodes that previously keyed into Bloodshed will now affect Bestial Wrath.
      • Wild Thrash has been updated – Now charges to your target and delays the spell cast until the pet reaches its target.
      • Solitary Companion has returned – Your pet damage is increased by 35% and your pet’s size is increased by 10%.
    • Survival
      • Developers’ notes: The following changes are targeted at adding another layer of depth to Survival’s gameplay by reintroducing Tip of the Spear. Alongside this reintroduction, we’ll be including a new suite of Tip of the Spear-centric talents. Additionally, we’re reworking a portion of Sentinel’s talents to key into Tip of the Spear directly. We’re making Boomstick easier to access and granting more cooldown reduction via Quick Reload and Lethal Calibration so that players will more reliably have access to its area damage. We would still like Survival’s area damage events to be sparser and higher impact, but we agree with the community that it felt too infrequent. We appreciate your continued feedback and will continue to iterate as necessary.
      • New Talent: Quick Reload – Boomstick’s cooldown is reduced by 30 seconds.
      • New Talent: Primal Surge – Kill Command grants 1 additional stack of Tip of the Spear. Tip of the Spear’s damage bonus is increased by 5%.
      • New Talent: Twin Fangs – Takedown grants 3 stacks of Tip of the Spear.
      • Tip of the Spear has been updated – Kill Command increases the direct damage of your other spells by 15%, stacking up to 3 times.
      • Strike as One has been updated – Consuming Tip of the Spear provokes your pet to attack, dealing Physical damage.
      • Explosives Expert has been updated – Now additionally benefits Boomstick.
      • Wildfire Tar has been updated – Now increases Wildfire Bomb’s periodic damage. No longer increases pet damage to enemies affected by Wildfire Bomb.
      • Wildfire Shells has been updated – Wildfire Bomb cooldown reduction reduced to 2 seconds (was 4 seconds).
      • Lethal Calibration has been updated – Wildfire Bomb reduces the cooldown of Boomstick by 1 second for each enemy hit, up to 5 seconds.
      • Flamebreak has been updated – Fire damage dealt increased by 8% (was 15%).
      • Raptor Swipe damage increased by 100%.
      • Flamefang Pitch cooldown is now 60 seconds (was 30 seconds).
        • Developers’ notes: With Boomstick’s cooldown becoming shorter, we wanted to give Flamefang Pitch some room to breathe, and reduce the situations where you have many spells coming off cooldown at the same time.
      • Flamefang Pitch visuals have been updated.
      • Many talents have changed positions in the talent tree.

      • Spellslinger
        • Developers’ notes: Splinters have become significantly easier to generate while remaining powerful, especially for Arcane Mage, so we’re reducing their frequency and power while also adding some non-Splinter-based damage hooks to ensure your Frost and Arcane core spells are contributing meaningfully to your damage.
        • Frost Splinter direct damage reduced by 50%.
        • Arcane Splinter direct damage reduced by 50%.
        • Splintering Orbs has been updated – Now causes Arcane Orb to generate 2 Splinters (was 4).
        • Spellfrost Teachings has been updated – Arcane Orb and Frozen Orb cooldown reduction reduced to 0.25 seconds (was 0.5 seconds).
        • Infused Splinters has been updated - Now has a 15% chance to apply 1 stack of Freezing (was 25%).
        • Polished Focus has been updated – Now additionally increases Arcane Barrage and Shatter damage by 15%.
        • Signature Spell has been updated – Now additionally increases Arcane Blast, Arcane Pulse, Blizzard, and Frostbolt damage by 15%.
      • Sunfury
        • Sunfury Execution has been updated – Now increases Pyroclasm’s damage bonus by 30% and Meteor grants Pyroclasm.
    • Class
      • New Talent: Brainstorm – Hot Streak, Clearcasting, and Brain Freeze increase your Intellect by 1% for 8 seconds. Multiple applications may overlap.
      • New Talent: Improved Spellsteal – Spellsteal repeats its effect after 4 seconds, but it now has a cooldown of 4 seconds.
      • New Talent: Improved Counterspell – Counterspell prevents casting for an additional 1 second.
      • New Talent: Improved Remove Curse – Casting Remove Curse on a friendly target also casts it on yourself, but its cooldown is increased by 20 seconds.
      • New Talent: Mana Confluence – Your mana costs are reduced by 5%.
      • New Talent: Reflection – After casting Blink, it is replaced with Reflection for 8 seconds. Reflection teleports you back to where you last Blinked. Choice node against Spatial Manipulation.
      • Incantation of Swiftness has been updated – Now grants 20%/40% movement speed (was 30%/60%).
      • Cone of Cold cooldown increased to 25 seconds (was 12 seconds).
      • Reduplication has been removed.
    • Arcane
      • Eureka is now a 1-point talent.
      • Big Brained has been removed.
    • Fire
      • Developers’ notes: The goal with the following changes is to further reduce the baseline power of Ignite while also adding some more power to Master of Flame. Additionally, we’re making Meteor easier to access to increase its appeal in lower target count scenarios. Lastly, we’re adjusting Fired Up to be able to trigger regardless of Combustion to help create more excitement and add some more power outside of your burst cooldown. We’ve also adjusted the 3rd node to help retain the feel and excitement of Combustion with Fired Up’s previous iteration. We appreciate your continued feedback and will continue to make changes as necessary.
      • New Talent: Conflagration – Fire Blast deals additional damage to up to 8 nearby enemies.
      • New Talent: Burnout - When Combustion expires, all of your active Ignites explode, dealing 50% of their remaining damage.
      • New Talent: Pyromastery – Pyroblast damage increased by 5% and its size is increased by 15%. Choice node with Mark of the Firelord.
      • New Talent: Mark of the Firelord – Meteor and Flamestrike deal 8% increased damage. Choice node with Pyromastery.
      • New Talent: Mote of Flame – All Fire damage dealt increased by 3%.
      • Fired Up has been updated:
        • 1st node  – No longer requires Combustion. Chance increased to 20% (was 15%). Now increases Fire damage by 4% (was 5%).
        • 2nd node – Now additionally increases your Fire damage by 3%/6%.
        • 3rd node – Combustion significantly increases your chance of gaining Fired Up, reducing each time you gain Fired Up. Additionally, Fired Up now extends Combustion’s duration by 1 second.
      • Ignition has been updated – Fire Blast now spreads 50% of your target’s Ignite (was 100%).
      • Master of Flame has been updated – Now additionally causes your Fire Blast to spread an additional 50% of your Ignite.
      • Controlled Destruction has been updated – Now triggered from Pyroblast, Flamestrike, and Fireball damage.
      • Kindling has been updated – Now a 2 point talent and reduced Combustion’s cooldown by 30 seconds/60 seconds.
      • Fervent Flickering has been updated – Now grants 1 additional Fire Blast charge and increases Fire Blast’s damage by 25%.
      • Flame On has been updated – No longer a 2 point talent. Now grants Fire Blast 1 additional charge and reduces its cooldown by 2 seconds.
      • Meteor has been updated – No longer deals 40% increased damage to the enemy closest to Meteor’s center baseline.
      • Deep Impact has been updated – Now causes Meteor to deal 50% increased damage to the enemy closest to Meteor’s center.
      • Blast Zone has been updated – Now reduces Meteor’s cooldown by 15 seconds.
      • Feel the Burn updated – Duration reduced to 6 seconds (was 8 seconds). Mastery gain reduced to 3% (was 4%).
      • Pyromaniac has returned to the Fire Mage tree.
      • Flamestrike damage increased by 15%.
      • Fireball damage increased by 50%. Does not affect PvP combat.
      • Meteor is now located in gate 1.
      • Molten Fury is now located in gate 2.
      • The following talents have been removed:
        • Firefall
          • Developers’ notes: Firefall was exclusively played by Frostfire Mages and doubled the number of Isothermic Core procs available, heavily impacting how we must tune Meteor, Isothermic Core, and Firefall. By removing Firefall, we will be able to keep more power in the Meteor button itself.

      • Frigid Focus has been updated – Now increases Ray of Frost damage by 30% (was 100%).
      • Fingers of Frost has been updated – Now causes your next Ice Lance to Shatter the maximum number of Freezing stacks Ice Lance is capable of Shattering without consuming Freezing stacks.
      • Freezing duration increased to 15 seconds (was 8 seconds).
      • Comet Storm now replaces Ray of Frost (was Blizzard).
      • Many issues with Mastery: Freeze and Shatter have been fixed.

        • New Talent: Harmonic Surge – Casting Thunder Focus Tea, Celestial Brew, or Celestial Infusion guarantees that your next 2 casts of Tiger Palm or Vivify will cause a Harmonic Surge, dealing Nature damage split between your target and other nearby enemies, and healing up to 5 injured allies.
        • New Talent: Potential Energy – Casting Keg Smash, Rising Sun Kick, or Rushing Wind Kick causes your next Tiger Palm or Vivify to release a Harmonic Surge.
        • New Talent: Zenith –
          • Brewmaster: Blackout Combo increases Tiger Palm’s damage by an additional 50% and Keg Smash’s Brew cooldown reduction by an additional 1 second; Press the Advantage’s Nature damage is increased by 50% and its cooldown reduction is increased by an additional 0.25 seconds.
          • Mistweaver: Ancient Teachings transfers an additional 50% damage to healing.
      • Shado-Pan
        • Brewmaster
          • Stand Ready, Weapons of the Wall, and Wisdom of the Wall are now activated by Invoke Niuzao, the Black Ox.
          • Efficient Training now reduces the cooldown of Invoke Niuzao, the Black Ox.
    • Mistweaver
      • Developers’ notes: This round of updates for Mistweaver is focused on injecting tuning knobs and gameplay we can utilize to balance out builds between different content.
      • New Talent: Amplified Rush – The healing of Gusts of Mist caused by Renewing Mist is increased by 50%.
      • Restore Balance has been redesigned – Now increases healing done while Yu’lon and Chi-Ji are active by 5%.
      • Yu’lon’s Whisper’s healing has been increased by 100%.
      • Celestial Harmony no longer grants 2 instant cast Enveloping Mists and instead reduces Enveloping Mist’s cast time by 60% while Yu’lon is present.
      • Jade Bond no longer causes Enveloping Mists from Spiritfont’s Chi Cocoons.
      • Spiritfont’s Chi Cocoons now scale their effectiveness based on the amount of Soothing Mists cast by Spiritfont.
      • Sheilun’s Gifts clouds now increase the healing of Sheilun’s Gift by 50% per stack (was 100%).

      • Developers’ notes: Our goal for this update is to better define Holy Light’s position within Holy Paladin’s kit as a high powered, always available single target healing nuke that is limited by its mana expenditure. Previously it had been tied behind too many modifiers that we felt restricted its use too heavily on top of its mana cost and cast time. Additionally, we are continuing to condense Holy Paladin’s aura tracking by redesigning Unending Light, removing Power of the Silver Hand, removing Blessing of An’she’s aura modifier, and redesigning Shining Righteousness. We’ve also added tuning knobs to several pieces of Holy Paladin’s kit that were not previously tunable without affecting the baseline power of a spell. We’re also experimenting a bit with Call of the Righteous’ tuning as we didn’t feel it matched our goal of offering a reasonable trade off for the power of reducing the cooldown of Avenging Wrath and adding functionality to Beacon of the Savior that rewards healing them directly as well to ensure value is being received in scenarios where the best target to heal is that Beacon target.

We are adding Unleash Life back to the Restoration tree with some minor tweaks to its functionality. We still want normal spell casts to be impactful, but being able to respond according to the situation with a short cooldown allows for fun and rewarding gameplay. We’ve also taken a look at Ascendance and feel this is a good opportunity to update its functionality for some fresh gameplay. Looking forward to your continued feedback!

      • Champion’s Spear has been redesigned – Throw a spear at the target location, chaining all enemies in the area to the spear’s location and dealing Physical damage instantly and additional Physical damage over 6 seconds. While the spear is active, activating this ability will cause you to leap to the spear, slamming down to deal Physical damage to all targets. All damage dealt reduced beyond 5 targets. Generates 10 Rage.
        • Developer’s notes: The previous iteration was an experiment to see if a softer version of a pull-in effect would be useful. We don’t feel that this was a success, so we’re trying another approach to Champion’s Spear that leans into Warrior’s natural mobility and providing a new tool for engagement or gap-closing.
      • Intimidating Shout has been updated – Enemies other than the primary target are no longer feared in place, but flee from the Warrior, however, their movement speed is reduced by 70%. Now on a choice node with Piercing Howl.
        • Developers’ notes: We’re experimenting with many of Warrior’s iconic shouts to give them more utility in more situations. Here we’re adding a snare to Intimidating Shout to make it less risky to use in dungeon and open-world content, and positioning it against Piercing Howl with a similar snare, but a movement speed buff for allies. We’re interested to see what new uses players come up with for these abilities.
      • Honed Reflexes now has an additional effect – Successfully interrupting an enemy increases the damage you deal to them by 5% for 10 seconds.
      • Battlefield Commander has been updated:
        • Rallying Cry: Increases the health granted by Rallying Cry by an additional 2% and increases its duration by 3 seconds. No longer grants movement speed or Leech.
        • Berserker Shout: Radius increased by 100% (was 8 yards).
      • Barbaric Training has been updated – Slam, Whirlwind, and Thunder Clap damage increased by 10% (was 20%) and critical strike damage increased by 5% (was 10%). Now a 2-point talent.
      • Thunder Clap will now automatically apply Rend to 5 targets if talented into Rend.
      • Crushing Force is now a 2-point talent.
      • The talent tree layout has been updated and many talents have changed positions.
        • Developers’ notes: We are continuing to iterate on the Warrior class tree goals, aiming to add more utility to the Warrior class tree to allow for different playstyles and builds for different types of content.
      • The following talents have been removed:
        • Blood and Thunder
          • Developer’s notes: Rend is an iconic core Warrior ability and we want it to be available to all Warriors. However, we’d like to find a balance between Rend being applied by Thunder Clap (and thus Thunder Clap being required for all Warrior builds), and Rend being added as an active button to all builds, even those that use Thunder Clap. The previous iteration of a choice between Rend and Blood and Thunder was deemed to be unnecessarily confusing, so we’re simplifying things. If Protection and Mountain Thane warriors (or any others that enjoy the fantasy) want to use Rend, they simply take Rend and continue using Thunder Clap, whereas other specs can have access to AOE Rend without needing to invest in Thunder Clap or incorporate it into their rotations.
