На PTR началось тестирование обновления 2.55.5 для Heroes of the Storm. В нем разработчики внесли несколько корректив в ARAM-режим, огромное число балансировочных, геймплейных и визуальных изменений для разных героев и исправили тучу неполадок.:cut:

А в чем тогда суть такого  большого патча?
Это как было с ВАркрафт 3 год выпускали такого рода патча и вышел анонс рефорджа.

Вынужден не согласиться. Изменения есть и это не только очередной огромный фикс багов, но и ребаланс героев. Ап Артаса, нерф Хоггера, ну и сильнейшее изменение второй ульты у Ирель, которая никогда не бралась на просцене (такая ещё осталась), но теперь, вероятно, увидим.

Всё сводится к тому, что игру шлифуют перед запуском в стим. К сожалению костыли с движком никуда не денутся.
Для возможного финансового успеха игры надо пересмотреть систему монетизации.
И в данном случае я бы на их месте рискнул бы сделать следующее. Введение новой валюты, полный вайп всех аккаунтов (уровень 1), выдача эквивалента этой валюты (примерно как было при выходе ХоТС 3.0) для возможности покупки каких-то обликов и прочего, но не безумных количествах, а так, чтобы условно можно было бы купить 1 облик или комментатора за каждые 50 лвлов.
Другой вариант, оставить текущих героев на некоем олдсервере с предложением трансфера на другой, но с потерей обликов, но сохранением открытых героев и, опять же, некоторым количеством новой валюты.

Там разве не от какой-то говорящей головы из майков прозвучало, но не прямой анонс что вот - хотс 3.0 будет, а что им бы хотелось увидеть хотс и сыграть в него?
